Researching SlimHoney's ingredient list, we found the identical four-ingredient combination — Baobab Fiber, L-Arabinose, Spermidine and Konjac Glucomannan — marketed under other product names positioned for cognitive wellness, memory and focus support, rather than weight management.
Why this happens in the supplement industry
It is common practice for a contract manufacturer to develop a base formula and then sell or license it to multiple different brands, each of which applies its own name, packaging, marketing claims and price point. The underlying capsule contents can be identical or nearly identical across brands, while the marketing story built around them differs substantially.
Why this is not automatically disqualifying
A shared formula is not inherently a red flag. Some ingredients genuinely support multiple wellness goals — a fiber ingredient can reasonably support both digestive health and general metabolic wellness, for instance. What matters is whether the specific claims made for a specific brand are reasonably supported by what the ingredients actually do.
